Jeremiah 29:11 is such a powerful declaration over us as believers, which is why it was important to me to include it on “Hidden In My Heart, Volume IV.” Growing up in church, I always had a deeply rooted understanding that God is in control of my life. Yet often, I found myself doing my own thing and not giving much thought to His plans and purpose. As I reflect on the past many years, it’s amazing to me how, even in those seasons where I lost focus, He was still working to fulfill His good plans in my life. This reflection leads me to a greater understanding of God’s grace. It also helps me to see just how determined He is in seeing His plans through.
