In this presentation, Pastor Bohr shows that those who doubt the story of Noah's Ark and the worldwide flood must also discount the testimony of Jesus, Peter and Paul, who all spoke and wrote about Noah and the flood as being real. He shares several reasons why this story is historically true and is also prophetic of end time events. He discusses how satan, by influencing the mixing of Seth's descendants, called the "sons of God", with Cain's rebellious descendants in marriage, almost destroyed the holy line from which the Messiah would come until there were hardly any righteous men left on earth. The mixture of Christianity with the world is leading to increasingly similar results in these last days as the love of pleasure, greed, idleness, pride, sexual sins and violence corrupt many in the church as well as unbelievers.
Pastor Bohr also shows how the shut door of the ark, the seven days they had to wait inside, and the words that the wicked were "taken away", all have important meaning for the understanding of last day events. Jesus gave four parables at the end of His talk about the signs of His coming that show how we are to prepare for what is ahead. This sermon will encourage you to heed the "three angels" who sound a warning message similar to Noah's, to separate from the sins of "Babylon", to put your all into building up the cause of God and to leave the results with Him.

From the beginning, God has desired His children to dwell in His very presence, but sin has made man unfit to dwell in the purity of God’s presence. How would God bring man back into this intimate experience without them being consumed in the process? Through His own life, and the visual aid of the sanctuary, Jesus has outlined a path that leads back to the Most Holy Place. This path was nearly destroyed during the Dark Ages. However, in these last days, God will have some final explorers who will not only restore this path of holiness, but will call the whole word to a powerful journey of faith. All who embark on this journey will be brought back into His presence.

In this first of two presentations about the meaning and value of the Sabbath day of rest, established by Jesus right after He had created man, Pastor Bohr shows how God blessed it and gave us this weekly holy period of quality time to spend nurturing our relationship with Him and to reflect on all He has done in creating the beautiful natural world around us for us to enjoy. He shows how it was kept by Jesus, the apostles and all the Christians in the New Testament and has not been lost in time or made invalid by Christ's death on the cross. He answers various reasons and excuses many Christians give to avoid keeping it because they think it cramps their time and lifestyle.
Even though the Fourth Commandment was given in written form on tables of stone to the Jews at Sinai in establishing the laws of that chosen nation of people from whom the Messiah would spring from, it was not intended just for them, as many think today, but its wording points back to creation as its authority, when the Sabbath, like marriage, was first given as a gift by God to Adam and Eve for every man and woman who would descend from them. It was established before there was any sin or sacrifices and ceremonial laws. Its original purpose was to give men a break from their everyday activities, to spend time in rest and loving fellowship with God and to forever remind them that He is the only Creator and Sustainer of the universe and has exclusive right to their worship and loyalty, so that they would not to fall into the trap satan did of thinking himself his own god and rule maker.
Adam and Eve sinned when they doubted the authority and requirements of their Creator and wondered if satan was right in saying that they themselves were equal with God and didn't need to follow His rules. They had not seen God create them and therefore by faith were to take Him at His Word that He had, but they ended up choosing to believe another master and had to learn the hard way what deception, pride and living by ones own rules does to man.
This subject is of great importance, because by keeping His Sabbath day the way that He has specified, we confess that Jesus Christ is our Creator, Redeemer and Authority and we also proclaim to the world that sin is doubting that He is our Creator, Redeemer and Lawgiver. These are the very issues at stake in the whole history of the great controversy between Christ and satan. It is a matter of showing faith in God's Word versus our own works, laws and standards. We thus proclaim that we are created beings and not evolved from a big bang or some other means from eons past.

In this study of the identity of the second beast of Revelation 13, which rises from the "earth", rather than the "sea" which the previous beasts had arisen from, Pastor Bohr expands upon his previous three lectures and shows with twelve identifying points how the rise and dramatic fall of America has been foretold in Bible prophecy.
The final, intense battle between the Prince and the dragon on earth will be revealed, as America will someday be pressured to give up its Christ-inspired lamblike qualities and will "speak as a dragon" by repudiating its Constitutional safeguarding of the protection of the freedom of an individual's choice of worship or belief system from any powers that want to control the conscience. It will then, while pretending to still hold Christian values, revive the "life" of the first beast of Revelation 13, pay full homage to its system, and use its military, technological and economic strength to force the world to worship the first beast by making an image that copies the secret of its power. A counterfeit system of ecumenical worship and prophetic interpretation, so accepted and growing more and more rampant among Christians today, as well an increased blending of the powers of church and state, will finally lead to its collapse into the hands of "Babylon".
This presentation includes some interesting history of religious persecution in the colonial years of America which influenced how its Constitution was set up and understood. It also discusses two stories from the book of Daniel that illustrate what the proper separation of church and state entails.

SecondComing.org David Asscherick ReTHINK Prophecy Part One
Sharing the good news of the soon return of Jesus Christ, our Lord Creator and Redeemer.
In early Adventism, the declaration that “Where there is no vision [prophet] the people perish” (Proverbs 29:18a KJV) was a highly valued insight. This verse came to define and embody Ellen G. White’s (EGW) role in the post-Millerite movement that developed into the Seventh-day Adventist Church. She became the Lord’s prophet and would shepherd the dispirited group of fervent believers who had expected the Lord would return in the fall of 1843 or 1844, or at least in their lifetimes. She would become, to this “little flock,” the conduit through whom God would reveal end time prophecies.
In what sense was EGW a prophet? To understand how she came fully to this role, we should situate her in the proximate time and events that influenced her. Ellen White (1828-1915) was born near the end of the so-called Second Great Awakening, the Protestant revival that began in the late 1790s and extended well into the mid-1830s. The three authentically American Christian denominations that have continued to our day — The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS/Mormons-1830), Seventh-day Adventists (SDA-1863), and to a lesser extent, Jehovah’s Witnesses (JW-1870) — were all affected to varying degrees by the environment of this period.
Of these three, the LDS and SDA denominations had founders, Joseph Smith and EGW, who declared they communicated directly with God in ways reminiscent of biblical prophets. Ellen White more extensively than Joseph Smith. Neither Joseph Smith nor EGW had high formal schooling, and they relied on others in transcribing their encounters with God. Both leaders produced immensely important extra-biblical literature that would guide their respective churches long after their deaths. Joseph Smith had the Golden plates (precursor to the Book of Mormon) and other “revelations” — the “Doctrine and Covenants” and the “Pearl of Great Price.” Ellen White produced some 40 books, 500 periodical articles, and more than 8,300 additional unpublished documents.
All biblical prophets, the models EGW is compared to, are simply God’s mouthpieceso—not in the secular sense of press secretaries but as spokespersons for God. And as such, their roles have sometimes been pastoral. In which case, they serve as God’s shepherds, pointing out the people’s waywardness with the aim of bringing them back to God. The prophet Amos, for example, fits this role. At other times, the prophets’ pivotal roles have been foretellers or “predictors” of a distant future. The apocalyptic writer of Daniel falls into this category in predicting a future much further ahead than any of his contemporaries could comprehend.
